In the rut? Me too. Happens all the time, we’re sky high on our journey to get healthy and fit. THEN what happens? Girl Scout cookies, your sons bday, pizza, desserts, and your regimen gets pushed aside.
HEY! We’re only human, we’re not robots like Coach James. (Jk, kinda) It’s ok to indulge in the good life and stuff your face from time to time. Just make sure you’re able to get out of that RUT! The rut is the hardest thing to pull away from because there’s so many other vices that pull you their direction. I’m here to tell you guys, I MESSED UP. I got caught in the rut of carbs and sugar. BUT today is the day I fight back and get on the regimen and stick to the plan.
LISTEN it happens, but you need to start telling yourself, THIS IS OK. Why? Because tomorrow I’m going to kick butt and get back to the schedule and maintain my gym and eating habits. Remember, the overall goal is to maintain this over time, not just for this challenge, but to really understand how to stick to something like this; maintain a healthy lifestyle, and not become our old self. We want to maintain the fitter, newer, and sexier versions of ourselves we are today!
Don’t beat yourself up for it. Just get back in the gym and start training! There’s time I will say you’ve earned that piece of cake or that double double from In n Out, but for now stick the game plan. Let’s celebrate later when this challenge is done and our 5 Year anniversary hits. We still have more than enough time to stick it to the man and get back on the plan! Let’s get these habits aligned and I’ll tell you right now, YOU WON’T REGRET IT!
